Custom MaterialsWe can provide a bespoke service to create new custom made circular materials from the waste you produce, providing you with your own unique sustainability story and driving further compliance from your customers.
Most housing is generally made from a wood composite such as particle board, medium density fibre (MDF) or plywood, which are then laminated with a plastic-based product to provide an easy-to-clean surface.
However, the use of toxic substances to bond all of these elements means that they cannot be separated after disposal and then reused, or easily recycled, unless using a specialised process.
Instead, we have the option to use natural cellulose based residual fibres together with a reversible adhesive, providing you with a product with healthy base materials that do not contain any volatile organic compounds.
This means that all of the materials can be separated and reused, once the housing is no longer required, allowing us to recover and repurpose for future projects.
We can also offer a number of veneer options that are made-from post-consumer and/or genuinely recyclable materials, whilst we can also custom design and manufacture cellulose-based custom panels to your specification.
In numerous discussions with consumers, we often hear that they do not have the required level of assurance, or are provided with sufficient tangible evidence, that a downstream recycling process actually exists after they perform the required action. The ability to quickly and easily communicate this message at the point of disposal is, therefore, fundamental to the success of any recycling system.
One simple way of achieving this is to visibly incorporate the materials you are looking to recover into the actual collection infrastructure. The consumer can then immediately associate material capture with subsequent reuse, resulting in a positive outcome for all stakeholders, as a result of compliant behaviour.
The use of post-consumer materials in well designed functional and attractive infrastructure also demonstrates that upcycled materials are as, if not more, valuable than those made from virgin materials. This not only drives further compliance from consumers, but also significantly increases the value of disposed material.

3. Research & Development
We will create samples of the new material and test for both the proposed application and large-scale production (if required).
We will manufacture the new material and where required, incorporate it into your wider infrastructure requirements.
* Costs will vary substantially depending on the ability to replicate an existing process or develop a new process

Signage, Graphics & Display
Cellulose panels are also an ideal substrate for wide format printed signage, graphics and displays. Whilst offering greater strength, durability and structure, it often also results in lower costs for materials, logistics and installation.
We can partner with you, and your supply chain, to design and implement a solution that ensures all printed material is not only made from 100% recycled materials, but is also 100% recyclable following use, via our closed loop system:

Egger’s Eurodekor melamine faced MDF board is extremely durable, due to its high bending and edge strength which makes it ideal for use in the manufacture of bin furniture. It is also extremely suitable for mounting additional accessories, such as blue-roll and hand sanitiser dispensers, whilst the surface is very easy to maintain and clean.
We can also supply a range of flame-retardant decors suited to public and hospitality environments. These products are classified according to the European standard EN 13501-1 and meet the strict requirements for Euroclass B products.
Customised finishes are not included on standard models and are priced on application.
